Hilton Canary Wharf Hotel

We had tickets to go to watch Disney on Ice, so decided to book a night nearby instead of travelling back to West London.

Love Canary Wharf area with all the high rise building and the view of River Thames. Let me start by saying Hilton Canary Wharf branch is very family friendly.

5 minutes walk from Canary Wharf Station (Jubilee Line) exit walk either through Jubilee Place or you can walk through Obica building to get to the hotel.

Activity desk at reception

Reception desk had small activities sheet area with sweets for children. I have not been to a hotel that offers these little touches. As I had booked for a teepee package I couldn’t check in online and try out the digital key but check in was easy, and quick and they had the room ready before check in time, which was perfect.

Boys absolutely loved the teepee, it’s like little base for them, and they loved the little food package, hot chocolate, chocolate treats, and so many cute teddy bears which was safari themed.

The hotel was very clean and plenty of space in king Junior suite.

Bathroom had great amenities, plenty of soap, bath and shower gel to use.

Bedroom amenities

Being a Hilton member, we also got access to the executive lounge where drinks, tea, coffee and snacks were free to use on the 14th floor.

There was a small gym to use on the 2nd floor.

Breakfast was OK ground floor and had the usual buffet, although only finishing eating to realise a chef to make you omelette on request was available too. There was also a table where there were activities for children which I thought was brilliant!

Overall a brilliant stay, the boys have chosen it as their favourite one so far, and have to say it is one of the most family friendly hotel to stay in London.
