Being a foodie in London I always get asked restaurant to recommend, especially when you have children. I have compiled a list of restaurants we had went in 2023 and will see who will be the winner for this year.

Honest Burgers

My husband love burgers and Honest Burgers know how to keep it fresh by releasing every new burger of the month. For children there is a kids menu for £7.30 you can choose chicken, beef or fritter burger, option to make it plain or add in veg and sauce. It also comes with unsalted chips and drink.

Kids beef burger with chips

Now the burger is great portion for children under 10, my 10 year old son can eat a little more so I tend to order a smash burger for him adding on a drink which cost £13.70. There are many locations in London

Smash burger with bacon and side

In total if we order for a family of four no starters or sides as the chips comes with the burger and is quite generous; can opt for salad or coleslaw instead; with drinks and service charge, would cost us £65 on average.

Hard Rock Cafe

The kids meal cost £10.25 for 10 and under which is abit spenny. The menu for kids comes with quite a few options and comes served on a really cute guitar plate. They also gave a little activity pack which I think is essentials to keep kids meals

Overall the total of family of four, starters, mains, dessert and drinks + service charge would cost about £120 average. At the time we had went, we could also show the receipt and claim one of Hard Rock Glass. There are two, one located near Piccadilly circus station and one located near Hyde Park Station

Stack and Still

Now this is more of a dessert shop for kids, can order savoury pancakes for adults. Kids meal cost £5.99 for one pancake two toppings and bottomless drink

In total this would cost us about £50 average if adults get drinks too. The one we went to situated closest to Leicester Square Station

Play Birdies

Kids meals cost £7.99 and you get a cheeseburger slider or vegan with chips and fries, ice cream and drink

Now for the little ones under 5 it’s probably best for these kids meals for over 5 it’s best to order from adults menu. A total would cost for starters, mains, sides, dessert and drink would be £67 on average. There are located Battersea Power Station and Angel Station

Top Hat Monopoly Restaurant

Combine this with Monopoly lifesized a fun place for families. When we had went there wasn’t a kids menu now there seem to be an update which cost £18 for one starter, main, and dessert. The portion size is very generous though.

For total cost it would be about £120 for starters, mains and dessert. Food was delicious and cocktails definitely very delightful. Nearest station is Tottenham Court Street or Goodge Street.

Americana Haymarket

Love soul food and for children under 10 it would cost £10 for mains or £13 for mains and dessert. I love the options on this kids menu because of the fish option, absolutely healthier and tasty too.

Where this restaurant is situated is great for theatre goers. For a family of four the meal would cost about £120 for starters mains dessert. This is located near Piccadilly circus station.

Gallio

Great Mediterranean cuisine that offers pizza making class too. For children menu its £6.95 for 2 course and a drink. We love it when there are themed food we had went to try the Easter bunny pizza which was very generous sized.

For a total cost it would be £75 as we would get a couple of small plates and one large plate to share. We had visited the Canary wharf station.

Turtle Bay

A lovely Caribbean restaurant that has amazing vibes. Children’s menu is about £6.7 including mains and dessert and free soft drink.

The menu range is slightly small and the portion is not as big for a 10 year old but it is definitely very tasty the boys loved their mains and we shared the starters. We had a set menu which would cost

The cocktails and mocktails are delicious. Definitely great family restaurant to visit for starters, mains dessert and cocktails would be about £95. Many located in London.

Origin Kensington

A very lovely restaurant situated near Diana’s park, children menu for mains is about £11.50 and dessert is £5.50 so in total £17 for two course

Portions are average, food quality is very tasty. We love the view you can get here by high street Kensington Station.

Shoryu Ramen

Love when meals for children are under £10. For starters mains and dessert and it cost £7.90 absolutely a bargain. Even more so when kids eat free.

Portions were enough for both boys, although they weren’t used to edamame beans, they loved using their chopsticks skills. Meal for a family would be about £70, many branches in London.

Chick n Sours

For kids not much selection and for £6, the portion is not enough for 10 year old.

The fried chicken is very delicious though. From the main menu the dishes are superb, tender and juicy. For a family to eat would cost on average £75. A few branch around London

VQ restaurant

For £6.95 you get starters mains and dessert is absolutely great value and even more so when the portion is generous!

The menu has also activites for the kids to do. Also this restaurant is open 24 hours! Breakfast for kids is £4.95. A couple of branches in London.

La Gamba

Situated at Southbank, a great Spanish restaurant to introduce to the kids. For £9 for two course

The menu options is quite small the portion is enough for under 10 year old we had shared the starters, set menu here is £35pp so in total would cost on average £90 they do have kids eat free offer so can save £18 here.

The best family friendly restaurant on a budget would be Shoryu ramen, good value for money and you get a fulfilling meal

The best family friendly restaurant for a treat would be Americana, you have healthier and tastier options, located very central, yes it is a bit spenny but definitely worth it, the staff hospitality is also very helpful.
