World of Hyatt

First thing first, Hyatt Regency is the one we were staying at. I know there are TWO Hyatt brand under the same address, so it can be a bit confusing

When you first enter, concierge desk is on the ground floor where you can store your luggage before check in or after check out. Reception desk for both Hyatt House and Hyatt Regency is on the third floor.

We were given a King Bed Sofabed Deluxe Cherry Park view.

The beds were clean and very comfortable, king size bed had plenty of space, even the Sofabed was quite firm which made it comfortable for the children 10 and under to sleep. Basic amenities provided like kettle mugs teabag and instant coffee, with fridge that had one sparkling water bottle and one still water bottle for free.

Bathroom was a shower room with amenities provided by Appelles Apocathery Lab.

There were also a laundry room on the 11th floor to use for free, the door not clearly labelled, but it’s the only door you see when you exit the lift that has no number and you have to use your hotel key to get in. You have to bring your own detergent and fabric softener.

Gym is open 24 Hour, small but has enough equipment to do the exercises we would like, especially with weight training. Water and towel is provided free which we love these small touches. The view on the 12th floor is also a great motivation.

Restaurant is on the third floor pass the reception foyer.

Bar area

Elondi, breakfast buffet is served here, you can also choose the a la carte menu which you can find here. There were plenty of options for many varied dietary requirements. Food was delicious, we also did try Elondi for Dinner, the food and service was great, there isn’t a children menu and I was informed the chef would make a smaller portion and charge half the price. I’d prefer if there were a menu to give it a family friendly vibe.

The hotel is situated outside of Westfield Stratford, I would advise when exiting Stratford Station to follow Westfield stratford exit and do not enter into shopping centre but instead go up on ‘Ground’ floor and follow along outside the shops.

We had a lovely stay, situated in a busy area, noise level was minimal. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room is comfortable and looks very sleek. I would be interested to see the difference with Hyatt House but that’s another time if I get the chance.

The stay had made me feel welcome and given the pricing, I had joined up to be a member hoping I can earn points to earn a free stay.
